He's beaten Messico in back to back finals.

I take back everything I've said about him.

He beat Mexico’s almost Full team with a bunch of scrubs from MLS and second tier euro teams

More importantly he has the guys playing for the crest and playing for each other in a way they haven’t since the 2014 WC

I knew when he was coaching Columbus and he left to coach the national team, that the USA was going to be back. He’s truly a great coach.

He’s a players coach 100%

He’s lacking tactically big time

But the players give everything for him and you can’t hate on that

He may not be the best tactician but these dudes lay their bodies and their hearts on the line for him.

And his subs the past 3 games have been fantastic.

He’s getting Tata fired

For that I tip my cap to him

I was wrong thinking he would never get results vs Tata

He’s created an incredible atmosphere, if he gets the tactics right things look very bright

I will gladly say I was wrong. He’s brought back the hard nose take no shite attitude. He’s not the guy to take us to the next level when all those guys are in their prime for 2026. But he’s for sure the guy to punch our ticket to Qatar

The players love him, and he’s having success. I think sometimes it’s fair to ask more from him tactically, but there are also brilliant tactical managers that wouldn’t get nearly as much from the players as Berhalter is getting.

I’m very happy with him as our current National coach.

Also, I may get shite on for saying this, but I do think Juergen deserves some credit for developing this country’s youth programs.

Last time we replaced a coach that got the most heart out of the team and got results, we ended up with an idiot that wouldn't stop tinkering and thought he was smarter than everyone.

So careful what you wish for.

I'm not very caught up on what he actually implemented, but he pretty much did the same thing for Germany.

...except he actually won while coaching there as well

But the German team became better once he left as well.
