Just got word that I tested positive. Had the sniffles, aches, and a very mild fever.

Got both Pfizer shots back in April.

Is it because I didn’t wear 3 masks?

It has been repeated ad nauseam that it was never to stop transmission but lessen infection symptoms as to not be hospitalized.

Maybe so, but that’s not what they initially lead with as the reason to get the vaccine. It was to create herd immunity, you know, to become immune to the virus

That’s not true at all.

The 94% effective was talking about stopping infections. The original publications in the scientific journals were all about cases in vaccinated vs unvaccinated groups.

And to be fair, that could still be accurate.

Wasn't that also before the emergence --or at least widespread circulation -- of the Delta variant?

I certainly recall a lot of concern being expressed that the vaccine may not even be effective against the Delta variant which was new during the time frame to which you are referring.

Also, are we absolutely sure that more than 1 in 20 vaccinated people are being infected?

1 in 20 is a lot of people. Means many people will know 20 or so vaccinated people that get infected if it continues to spread the way it has been the past few weeks.

It’s a virus, they mutate and change the longer they are in a population.

Those flocking non-vaxxers.

This is their fault.

The only answer is to get a fresh air bottle and a full face mask and breath perfect clean air in

Not initially. Leftist moved the goal posts with the Indian variant.

Yeah we have a national target for herd immunity and vax passports because we only care about lessening symptoms

Did you lose 5G coverage while you were sick? Delta or Ligma variant?

True, but that 95% efficacy rate looks like ABSOLUTE bullshite at this point.

As for the OP, good luck. Finding Kleenex as school is about to start may be an issue. Just remember, you can always use shite paper, just make sure it isn’t “pre-owned.“
