Bill Maher “The Woke are snitches and bitches”; Twitter loses its mind

First off, Bill should get rid of his audience completely. His clapping seals are annoying and even Bill seemed somewhat annoyed by them last night. Unlike Kimmel, Colbert, and Noah who proved during the pandemic that they’re not funny, Bill’s show actually got better without his audience and proved he was actually funny. I know comedians are addicted to their audience, but his audience is universally terrible.

But onto the substance, he found some real doozies of cancel culture I wasn’t aware of when it came to cancel culture. Apparently the composer for the Olympics was fired because he admitted in an interview in 1994 that he bullied some classmates as a child. And this comes from the biggest bullies this country has ever seen.

And cultural appropriation is the dumbest shite I’ve ever heard. If our species had that mindset forever, the first tribe that discovered salt can help preserve meat would have massacred the tribe next door that found out about it and tried it out for themselves. We’d not only have never left Africa, but our species would in all likelihood be extinct.

And to any sane person, everything Bill said there was correct… but not to Twitter and thus proving his point. Some of the top comments:

There’s no way Bill will have his show at this rate by the end of 2022. So long as HBO keeps paying him I’d keep it up, but Bill should be getting his ducks in a row to start up a podcast because quite frankly Bill doesn’t have to say anything new to get fired. And again, his show would greatly improve with no audience or being forced to stick to an hour. Regardless completely do away with the audience at this point.
