According to a just-completed McLoughlin poll among likely Republican voters in the Cowboy State, a whopping 72% have an unfavorable opinion of their state’s lone U.S. Representative.

When Cheney is pitted one-on-one against state Rep. Chuck Gray (for whom the poll was conducted), he demolishes her 63% to 24%.

Heavily Republican state and even someone who is effectively state royalty, by virtue of being the spawn of Dick, can't last forever after telling her constituents to frick off.

This is the problem;

But, with seven other candidates in the primary with Cheney next year, it is now unlikely Gray or anyone else will get to go one-on-one with the three-term congresswoman.

When the McLoughlin poll listed five major contenders with Cheney, she topped the field with 22%, followed by Gray with 18%.

I'll put money on it Cheney supporters, including the RNC, are/will fund these other challengers.

I said as much months ago. Don't be surprised if she ends up winning. Or even gets defeated by a Dem in the general.

Liz Cheney is acting like she has no chance of keeping her seat and she knows it hence her accepting Pelosi’s appointment on the select committee.

It’s high time everyone in DC and the media act like it as well.

She’s dead in the water.

Wait until the cattle sheep vote comes in.

Dad was in charge of minute man missile silos. Ten in Montana. He received a call at 2 am one morning. “ Sir we fired on an intruder alert inside the perimeter. We can’t identify the intruder until the blizzard stops.” The following morning another call.”The blizzard formed a snow drift over the north fence. Multiple warning issued, no response, we decided to fire on the intruders.”

65 future Cheney voters were slaughtered. An entire flock of sheep seeking shelter in the storm.

Liz will not survive her absentee voters being slaughtered before their mail ins are sent.

Good opportunity for the Democratic steal engine to steal one for a RINO. This secures a RINO in the pocket for Dem mandates.

neocons rarely if ever can see reality, in her mind she most likely thinks it will make republican voters like her more if she makes a few sound bite quotes from the committee about being fair and wanting to get to the truth

Republicans in the state senate introduced a measure to require a run-off in primaries for statewide and state legislative offices. In March, the measure lost by a vote of 15 to 14.

Why? If the state is majority GOP they should have voted for a run off.

I look at it as her figuring she can't lose her seat.

She'll flood the primary with candidates so she wins that on name recognition alone and she'll beat whoever the dem is in solid red WY.

The Republicans would have to spend money on the primary and runoff and then face a Democrat with plenty of dry powder in the fall.

Jack Mueller of Cheyenne, former National Chairman of the Young Republicans, told Newsmax, "If there are still eight others running, Liz will win. Trump’s endorsement of a primary opponent will make a big difference. If those stupid ones running will get over their ego trips, she can be defeated.

This guy gets it.

The winner of the run off would get out of state money for the general.

She will be pooping "conservative" gold by election time and it will be a close race.
