Has anyone had covid and also got the vaccine...

what was your experience after you got the vaccine?

No side effects. Was brow beaten into getting it due to my wife being pregnant. She got it 8 months pregnant and there were also no issues with her or baby who is now nearly 5 months old.

My 72 year old parents had covid and were basically asymptomatic and then got the first shot with no issues.
One of my best friends ~40 years old had covid and was pretty sick, then got the vaccine and within a week got shingles and blot clotting issues. Who knows if they are related, but she never had clotting issues before.
I had covid, mild symptoms, no vaccine but recently tested for antibodies and still have them 5 months later.

Wife (no pics) is active and eats well. Had vaccine six months after COVID. First shot was noticeable; second shot was pretty rough.

Wife had Covid, got vaccinated about 2 months later. No issues at all.

I have 2 friends who have had the vaccines and gotten covid. 1 got the J&J vaccine and felt pretty bad side effects, then about 3 weeks later actually caught Covid and had a fever and lost taste and smell for a couple of weeks.
The other got the pfizer double shot and about 3 months later got pretty sick with Covid. Fever, chills, hard time breathing, loss of smell and taste (going on 2 weeks now). Started on a z-pack, steroid shot and breathing treatments. The people she was with at the time she contracted covid were unvaccinated and their symptoms were about the same as her.
Edit: Read it incorrectly. Not sure why someone would get the vaccine if they already had Covid?

Our hospital has 180 Covid positive inpatients rt now. That’s 75 more than our peak last year. 171 are unvaccinated the other 9 are 75yrs old plus with very bad health. The majority of our patients are 30-60.

It’s clear it impacts different people/groups in different ways.
That people in poor countries are NOT getting sick, and homeless people in the US are also NOT getting sick, are two telling metrics.
People are probably exposed to the virus at an even rate, but are affected differently based on a simple reality - they are overweight. And the more overweight, the more likely you are to die.

My elderly parents did. They've were brainwashed by the media. The shot was worse than the COVID. I just found out that my mother was pushing my teenage daughter to get the vaccine when we visited this weekend. Me and mom are going to have a talk.

My idiot adult son did. He is still having trouble eating and keeping weight on. Also, a friend did and he says he hasn't had any issues.
I don't understand why in the hell someone who has had covid would even think for more than a second about getting that experimental crap.

4 of my coworkers got the vaccine and also got Covid. They had sinus infection type symptoms and were fine in 3 days. 2 of my friends that chose not to get the vaccine have caught Delta and are at home day 5 and 7 feeling like run over dog s***. I’m not trying to convince anybody to do anything I’m telling you the facts I’m seeing with my own eyes.

My wife and BIL&SIL are 90% sure they had Covid and both got Moderna. No issues.
