A day after U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins revealed he is ill with COVID, he along with Rep. Garret Graves and Rep. Mike Johnson would not disclose Monday whether they have been vaccinated.
The other five members of Louisiana’s congressional delegation say they have received their COVID shot and are encouraging others to do so as well.
“The benefits vastly outweigh the costs,” U.S. Sen. John N. Kennedy, R-Madisonville, said in an interview.

I don’t.
But apparently it’s worth it for The Advocate to go prodding.

KPEL is going HAM right now as Graves, Johnson and Higgins won't disclose their vaccination status.
Sorry. It's not HIPAA but it's not their business.

Kennedy just lost my support! Wonder how much stock he own in Moderna, JJ, Pfizer? Maybe he has stock in labs in Wuhon.

He's one of the best Louisiana has had in a long while. It's going to take more than that for me to bail on him.

He’s not wrong
The benefit does outweigh the costs for those with health issues & the elderly
To me he was explaining why he got it which was his choice

You people are insane. Kennedy, one of the only senators to consistently support Trump, is now potentially a Chinese agent because he says (correctly) that the benefits of the Trump vaccine outweigh the risks.

People like him are why Republicans lose a lot in places they should always win.

that has got to be BS.
New York at 40?
who is doing the counting?
i heard on the radio this morning the CDC has difficulty identifying covid from regular flu.
this is all planned and orchestrated. next week we will get a different report. politics is very fluid you see!

Read the bottom of that chart. La has 302 cases per 100k people over 7 days.
That’s 43 cases per 100k per day. Muh 4th wave!

I get the anti-vaxxers have some legit concerns but too many of you are just too insane to be taken seriously.

It’s no ones business if or if not been vaccinated

Looks like those Bill's protecting against covid tyranny madness were important after all. I'd say more important than the retarded mess they managed to pass this year. Republicans got nothing of value across the line this year. They're super happy about their budget though.

I don't think you are reading that completely correct.
It's still a very very small amount of cases but it isn't 43 per 100k per day.
its 302 out of 100k over a 7 day period.

Legit concerns is different than the anti-vaxxer label. You just caused division right there. The hell is wrong with people.
I'd say the concern can be looked at this way.
The scenario is a forest fire has steered you to the edge of a cliff. The drop off is about a three story fall, but you have a good chance of being alright. The kicker is your body produces water you can use to fight the fire. Where you take your risk is personal. Everyone tells you to jump off the cliff and I'm trying to tell them to back off while I fight this fire.
Edit: I get this scenario takes a level of imagination.

These numbers are insignificant compared to most ailments to the human population. Very insignificant. And there's a vaccine so what's the news here.
