Which is why I don't think they will be involved with NIL.

From what I read all members have one vote and a majority vote of 11 is all that is needed.

The point in my hypothetical is a process to retain status quo for those two schools
Yeah I’m sure Arkansas wants to retain the status quo of being the worst team in the conference over the last decade lol.

This guy here.

I also think that Missouri would be relatively easy to convince considering the immediate increase in difficulty of competition and resources.
Yeah I’m sure Missouri cares a lot more about football than money lol

Texas isn’t happy with the Big 12 mostly as a result of their own mismanagement having effectively driven Colorado, Nebraska, A&M, and Arkansas out of their conference(s). Let’s hope that the SEC makes sure they are just one of the members, not THE member.

Texas will come in and fall in line to our conference rules. They will lose their network and they will accept splitting league profits evenly with Vanderbilt and everyone else. They will make this league more profitable and competitive

Only losing network for now is true. The rest is short term with long term prospects questionable at best.

Anyone before Texas. They can’t help themselves and have the resources to divide to get what they want and leave when they want. LSU doesn’t and will have to move closer to Texas when they realize splits no longer include them with traditional SEC.

LSU’s current SJW agenda will make it weaker and in need of more money. It would not surprise me if LSU’s unquestioning support of Texas joining is partly tied to distract fans and alumni while it continues to implement agenda at school.

They are middle of the pack. They have more money than LSU, South Carolina, State, Ole Miss and Auburn. Really they are the top of the second tier schools regarding money.

They don’t have Missouri, Vanderbilt, Bama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, TN and certainly not A&M money.

This post is hilariously dumb for several reasons

The country’s largest dept store chain in in Arkansas

Nope. Macy’s is the largest Department Store in the US and it’s not located in Arkansas. FYI - Kohl’s is #2. Additionally, I can’t find where Dillards donates money to UA athletics.

Nope. UPS is the largest trucking company in the US. FYI - Yellow Freight is 2, Schneider is 3. Hunt not in top 5.

This is correct; however, as best I can tell from Walmart filings they don’t give money to the UA athletic department. They have to get all donations approved by shareholders (who are not necessarily Arkansas fans) and passed by the board. In fact, I can’t find where Walmart gave any money to the school. The Walton’s individually give money through their trust, but the company doesn’t, as best I can tell, donate to UA.
