I still don’t get why they don’t all use Michonne’s proven loop hole to the zombie apocalypse.

I also haven’t watched in years. Has there been any revelation by the show about what the hell the helicopters were for and any understanding about what’s happening big picture and how this all started etc.?

If anything Twd is good at it’s egregious cliffhangers that inevitably miss when they return.
Maybe a movie will break their cycle but I fully expect to be very disappointed by a final cliffhanger in the movie.
