Probably gonna get downvoted to oblivion because of this but Limp Bizkit made some fricking badass music. Still bump them to this day and in my opinion they were way over hated...

No, but I'd pay $1000 now to have been at that NIN concert.
I had it on DVD and have watched it probably 150 times.

Sorry, dude. I can't say anything nice about the chugga-chugga-chugga Drop A, 7-string guitar riffing of Nu Metal bands.

You are rt.
It was in a shitty area in blistering heat with overpriced everything.
And I know bad shite happened, but the gang rape thing seems a bit of a stretch.
It's someone saying they saw a girl get pulled down into a crowd and while I couldn't see through 200k people, she was raped.
That's basically how witness explained it.

Be that as it may, Wes Borland was great on the guitar.

Simmons alluded to that on the fight club Rewatchables that there so much white rage and kids going crazy and all that with columbine happening a few months before Woodstock
I thought those were a few years apart. I guess I could just google it, but I distinctly remember both of those times for very different reasons and I'm fairly positive that they were entirely different years by a fairly wide margin.
Someone google it and find me either correct or entirely wrong.

Lollapalooza >>>> fake Woodstock crap

A lot of full band sets from Woodstock 99 are on YouTube. They are nostalgic for sure. The Korn set from the first night is insane. The music might be better or worse now, but rock and roll certainly feels less “dangerous” these days compared to back then.

I read your post like it was lyrics from a Limp Bizkit song

That nookie song is horrible

I always loved the opening with Blind, the crowd is crazy

Was it 99 or 94 when the guy from Jackyl had a rifle on stage and security ended their set? Pretty sure he smoked a joint on stage as well.

The late 90s were the epitome of popular music turning into absolute shite and, 20 + years later, showing no signs of recovering.

The Creed set was tGoat.
I actually did see Creed once. I went to see Sevendust open for them. The stage show was good, but Sevendust was such a better live band than Creed. It was kind of embarrassing for them.

I still listen too. They went downhill because Durst couldn’t handle fame and became an insufferable cùnt.
But I do admit, there’s no gray area with them. You either love them or hate them.
