kinda like the kid Hanner Shipley who signed with Miles back in 2015. Showed up, got his arse beat, then immediately left. Transferred to Abilene Christian then to La Tech. My brother in law was the head coach at Marble Falls in TX when Shipley was signed by Miles. He couldn't believe because his soft arse wasn't even a starter his senior year at Marble Falls. Told me at the time it was a disastrous signing and the guy never even suited up as a Tiger.

I think he was signed more or less to try and get Walter Nolen a top recruit this year

I don't know how weak or even if we are weak at TE yet. We were not very deep last year after Arik left but before he left TE was a solid position.
How can anyone say we are weak at TE in 2021? You nor me nor anyone else here knows yet. I will answer that question about 3 games into the season.

If I remember right, he was like the lowest rated recruit in the 2021 class. I don't think he is good enough to be on this LSU team.

Marietta coach told me that Anthony Jennings belonged in Conf USA at best and definitely not the SEC when he signed with LSU.
When he came in and looked good vs Arkansas I texted him to rub it in.
