O wouldnt have said he knows which guy is better if it were Max.

Thats like saying "thanks Myles now go transfer".

On the opposite side, when Brennan starts @ UCLA, Max is going to work that much harder.

Love Max , but if dude hadnt thrown a shoe across the field this wouldnt even be a debate.

I’m not against starting Myles but let it play out and see what happens. The coaches hwill make the best decision to win now

He didn’t say that. He said when the time comes you have to play the best guy cause the team will know who that is.

He didn’t say that they know right now lol

This is the most misconstrued quote on here

That whole bs throwing the shoe argument is so tired. Kid went into Gainesville as a true freshman against one of the best defenses in the nation and a team fighting for a playoff spot, and threw for 230 with 3 tds and 0 ints. Even ran for another 50 yds.

Ended the year with 8 tds and 1 int and there are still people who think this debate is because of a shoe?

No, he said he already knows who it is because it is very obvious. He said everyone in the locker room also already knows who it will be too, because again, it's very obvious.

Then he said they will continue to let the process play out until the time comes to make the final decision in fall camp.

Nonetheless, since all the players in the locker room already know who it will be because it is very apparent, then I assume the two respective QBs in the locker room competing for the starting job also already know who will inevitably be named the starter as well.

If the team knows and it’s not Brennan, he’s an idiot for not transferring. Makes no sense

It's too late to transfer. He may as well remain at LSU for this season, and then transfer early next season. I mean, if he wants to impress the scouts and have a chance for the NFL, then it's better to wait until early next year so he can have a full off season to learn the new offense and to gel with the receivers.

y’all have terrible comprehension skills if you think coach O meant they already know who the QB is because it’s obvious. highly recommend listening again and listening to the few minutes directly after and you should clearly understand that he was saying that the team will know when max or myles separate from the other.

Gotta be Max, I would think. Can't believe it's even close.

That’s laughable. Everyone in the organization knows it’s going to be Myles.

We're officially in the off season between the end of baseball and the beginning of football.

Honestly, who knows. I'm leaning towards Brennan being the starter.

That isn''t a shot at Max by any stretch.

It'll be interesting to see.

quote:

We in the locker room, we know who the best player is, there ain’t no question, everybody knows. It’s going to work itself out and I’m going to let them play,” said Orgeron.

Y’all are trying to parse the words for implications, but the guy who said it is known for being a marble-mouthed nincompoop. Who knows WTF he meant? Even Orgeron might not know.

He played better than max that’s not debatable.the question is if Myles is as good or better than last year and if max has gotten better

The Mississippi state defense was better than Florida’s last year.ole miss had the worst defense. Myles played the better 2 defenses and shredded them besides that first half of his first start
