You don't pull that much more than me and you outweigh me and use stamps so you sound like the cutie.

Jesus you can be a cocksucker. Is lifting without straps when someone grabs and pins your arse and starts bouncing your head off the concrete?

Lifting heavier and not worrying about grip will. Guess ole Thor, Eddie and the rest of strongman are poons then.

It's clearly a joke

If they lift with straps, then unfortunately so.

This while thing that lifting with straps makes a person a pussy is so strange to me.

When I powerlifted hard with our core group, this was our moto. Frick straps. That's what chalk was for until the gym we lifted at kicked us out for using chalk, but really it was for just being dumb frick lifters that grunted, cussed, and lifted shite way to heavy and it intimidated the soy crowd. However, slowly but surely some of us came back since it was a good gym and we reformed and started lifting without chalk and now I like straps.

I really only use straps for dynamic deadlifts because of the band tension, but if you think I’m cute maybe we can deadlift together.

I get why powerlifters refuse to use them. It’s not allowed in any meet. So, it makes sense to stay away from them, especially on low volume days.

I use hook grip. But I don't think there's anything wrong with using straps either.

This is great and all but can all the insecure bitches in this thread stfu so we can get back to talking about the best ways to strengthen grip. Mine needs work for sure. I can get through my deadlift sets but if I try to do DB lunges, shrugs, or farmer carries afterwards I have no shot

Doing exercises with fat grips and thick bars help strengthen your grip.

Get straps. Use them only for the sets you need them for. That way you still work your grip muscles a lot.
