Organized bands of black people were allowed to burn entire neighborhoods and numerous poltical leader not only encouraged it, but organized bail funds for them... while... majority white capital rioters are being arrested for possessing legos.

That you had to reach back 60-70 years to find this example should have clued you into the fact that systemic racism doesn’t exist today and hasn’t for a long time.

redlining

Has largely been debunked as a myth

quote:

Higher rate of drug related arrests

This isn’t an example of systemic racism, it’s an example of dumb public policies like the ‘war on drugs’ and ‘three strikes’.

equally qualified black sounding names

Then how about not giving your children made up names that are consistent with ghetto culture? I had no issue in the past hiring a black guy named Ron over a white candidate that had a tattoo on his neck.

Interesting commentary . It shows very little linkage between the claim of white superiority and organized effort to deny blacks any thing.

All claims of systemic racism need to be justified by specific examples. I am willing to work on real and specific examples

The only people I’ve seen say such a claim exists are people who are non-white. Maybe that says more about you than it does whites.

The problem with any public school is not the funding.

What's systemically racist about public education is Democrats have turned education into a 13 year pre-draft camp for liberal politics. How much money should it cost to teach a kid how to read, write and do basic math? I'm not suggesting we ignore history, sciences, etc., my point is that Democrats are accomplishing NOTHING in inner city schools and a huge step forward would be if a vast majority of kids could do the basics at a functional level - and that should not cost $500,000 per classroom.

If you really think about it, social security is the most racist government system currently in place. The people receiving the benefit are disproportionately white and the people paying it are disproportionately of color. I wonder why the lefties don’t want to get rid of this racist atrocity?

Equity is a feel good, pie in the sky impossibility. A way to spend trillions and never accomplish the goals other than allowing a select few to siphon off billions for them selves.

People even within their own families aren’t born with equal abilities. They don’t make the same choices or have the same preferences. We don’t all have the same luck.

Shift the blame from personal responsibility and blame the boogie man. Let big government fix it for you.

Lies, damned lies, statistics

Arrests are not solely for drug offenses.

Back 50 years is a pretty good benchmark to define current events relating to equality.
1. it spans 2 generations to demonstrate the lasting influence

2. it begins with the start of modern communication tools, television programing, telephones, computer and cell phones

3.Prior to 50 years ago, schools were segregrated, buses, lunch counters, hotels etc were segregrated. the racism was visible. I saw it first hand.

There’s informal systemic profiling of certain groups by our police forces, but statistics both justify and arguably necessitate this.

So in essence there’s no systemic racism but there is a specific profile that law enforcement may be utilizing to catch certain criminals or to simply prevent criminal behavior?

There is systematic and institutional racism against Asians (and whites to some degree) in academic admissions processes at good schools all over the country.

The racism against Asians in Ivy League schools is overt but it's usually a little more hidden and only shows itself in disparity of outcomes when it comes to kids with identical scores.

If a white person commits an act of violence against a minority it’s the result of white supremacy and/or racism. If a minority commits an act of violence against another minority it’s Trump's fault due to white supremacy and/or racism. If a minority commits an act of violence against a white person or police officer it’s oppression due to white supremacy and/or racism.

Affirmative Action

Promotion of black owned businesses.

Eliminating equality in education so dumb black kids can be successful too.

black lives matter

black student athlete association

black miss America

Any race-specific organization, promotion, or benefit.

The demonrats lie every time they speak. They are institutionalizing racism in the name of anti-racism.
Just like antifa being fascist to "fight" fascism.

Nothing that happened to your parents or grandparents 50 years ago affects your life today unless you allow it to affect your life.

If you’re a good person, work hard, stay off drugs and don’t commit crime then people will respect you and you’ll have success in life.

A lot of blacks think they can do anything, commit crimes, fight with the police, assault people and generally be a piece of shite and when someone else frowns upon that behavior the response must be because of systemic racism and not because of their own behavior.

they always point to "red lining". It seems to be one of their go to examples.
