I guess my question is why do the powers that be care so much about people getting vaccinated? Don't you think they are taking this a bit too far? What is their ulterior motive or endgame here?

This strain of flu originated in China. Trump immediately proposed restricting Chinese travel. The Left (revealingly) stridently opposed that.
