I blame this on the obsession with super hero movies. These kids would rather live in a world of fantasy and make believe than deal with the real world they actually live in. If you stay too long, you can’t get back.

there has literally never been a major empire or advanced civilization below the sahara.
Not a single important thing was invented by a sub saharan african culture that has been adopted by the wide world.
Sub sahara africa brings NOTHING to the table.

school children can name great empires of the native americans in south america and central america.
