The title of this thread is misleading. The article says its only ranking CWS champions.

Oh, gotcha.
Still not having the 1993 team on there, sheesh

The 1991 team is way too low TBH. They were better than the 2000 team.

2000 should be higher. They didn’t lose in the post season at all. Rare for a Skip team.

Agreed id almost flip the 2000 and 91 teams

Why is a team from 1951 that went 19-9 on that list?
Posted on 6/30/21 at 8:38 pm to Memphricabra
1957 Cal @17
1968 USC @14
1951 Oklahoma @12
Laughable

I think I would take the 1991 team over all of them.
The weekend rotation all had pretty good careers in MLB. The closer was a first round draft pick.
The offense was very strong as well with Hymel and Mouton in the middle. Very good defensive team as well.
They had no holes.

Yeah i cant figure out why they are so low
Maybe they are strictly going by wins and losses.

The greatest moment in CWS history came when LSU pinch hitter Warren Morris hit a walk-off, two-run home run in the ninth inning to beat Miami in the CWS championship game.
Find the error in this sentence.

What a bunch of clickbait junk looking for ad revenue

I’m convinced there isn’t a single intelligent person working in sports media today. That list is shite, for 96 and 97 to be so far part and for 2000 to be that far ahead of 96 shows how ignorant whoever made that list is.

The 1997 team won with sheer power. They set an NCAA record with 110 home runs and hit at least one home run in all 70 games.

‘09 deserves to be on this list. They steam rolled through their bracket in Omaha.
