A new survey conducted for the New Orleans Crime Coalition shows that an overwhelming majority of the city’s residents – 74 percent – feel that crime in New Orleans has gotten worse over the past year and 64 percent don’t feel the city is safe.
In the telephone survey of 800 residents conducted June 11-17 by pollster Dr. Ron Faucheux, 64 percent of those surveyed said they felt the city was “not that safe” or “not safe at all.” Thirty-three percent said they felt “fairly safe” and just 2 percent said the city was “very safe.” One percent were undecided

I bet people in Chicago think it isn’t safe and it’s getting worse.

The other 26 percent were murdered last year so this year has been better for them.

they will re-elect Teedy
Scruffy has said that multiple times and multiple posters who live in NOLA refused to believe it.

It was almost twice the size in the 1990s though. So the violent crime rate would be lower back then, right?

New Orleans residents have the government they asked for and the government they deserve.

The two percent who think it’s “very safe” either live behind a gate in Audubon Place or are the murderers killing everyone with no threat of being put behind bars for any significant length of time.

The population wasn't 700,000 in the 90s. The population was never that big.
