I was listening to a podcast that said that although Mahomes only threw 6 ints in 2020 he had 23 "turnover worthy plays" (which is an objective stat) on balls thrown.
They say that there is a direct correlation between ball speed and lower TO/TWPs ratios.
So just like in baseball, where hitters accept higher strike out numbers to increase their exit velocity, I believe Jamies could sacrifice cmp% to decrease his INTs and maximize big plays simply by gunning the ball more.

Jameis has the arm talent to make every throw on the field. The key is going to get him to tone down on making the throws he shouldn't make

If you ever notice jameis' balls always come out high.
