If it’s one of those three something should break really soon. The only thing that would delay the press conference is if Jarrett wants to stay until his son is eliminated.

And since he’s up there the flight earlier this week does make more sense.

I’ve been telling you guys since Monday it’s a done deal with Johnson.

According to the link, "Johnson, 44, interviewed with LSU athletics director Scott Woodward on Tuesday".

So we hired him before interviewing him?

Bianco was offered 1.7 million and took it to Ole Miss who told him 1.2 was the best they could do but would give him an extension. He asked for a couple days to think it over before turning LSU down. This is from someone on ole Miss staff. They like the media absolutely believed he would take the offer.

Arizona looks like the best coached team in the country to me. Not the most talented but incredibly well coached.

the down side on Johnson is his years 2-4 were utter dog shite. So he has a CWS final and CWS appearance and then 3 seasons that aren't acceptable here.

I refuse to believe anybody made Mike Bianco an offer to do anything other than to go home.

it's cute if you believe this. You think he left 2 million dollars on the table?

So Bianco was offered a $500k raise from LSU and decided to stay at Ole Miss after they told him they're not giving hima raise but will extend his contract 1 year? Yeah, I'm not buying that. The Bianco stuff never made any sense. I'm more inclined to believe he reached out to LSU when Mainieri announced his retirement and LSU agreed to meet with him as a courtesy and then tried to use it as leverage at Ole Miss knowing he didn't have an offer at LSU

Jarrett "no plans to leave."

Typical coachspeak with nothing denying interest.

Well 2 because of COVID, but apparently he had to completely rebuild a roster that lost everyone in 2016. They relied heavily on JUCO guys before as bandaids and they all graduated/left for MLB.

Then he built this awesome roster you see now. He also turned around Nevada pretty damn quickly.

I didn't say he was a bad coach.

I actually really like the way he recruits and his team plays. its just notable in year 1 he made a CWS final and then he slide back in year 2- 4 and now he is back.

He made the final in 16
Regional in 17
no tourny in 18 and 19

10-5 when covid shut down season

I really like his team building its just somewhat concerning he is missing the post season in back to back years, but now he has another great team.
