Wait, so first you have enough conviction to say that people who have open minds about Ivermectin should be freely ridiculed, but now you're saying you don't care one way or the other?

They’re not contradictory. I don’t have an opinion on ivermectin. Clearly Google does. If it’s truly a kook theory like they’re insinuating, let Bret discuss it while everyone points and laughs. There is no harm in that.

Silencing it is ridiculous.

I know Roger Waters isn't very popular down here after his anti-trump laced concert in the Smoothie King Arena.

But even he is on board with the anti-censorship movement. This is a GREAT thing.

meh. liberals have been anti-facebook ever since they blamed Trump being elected on the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica ordeal. Rogers being anti-Zuck is nothing new to celebrate.

I would love to hear your arguments against anything Dr. Kory's presented, but I'm not holding my breath.

It doesn't even matter who is wrong or right. What matters is that good faith discussions on the topic is not allowed.

Hospitalists at my facility routinely use ivermectin while treating admitted covid patients. Should I go lecture the internists about their stupidity?

The places where they make editorial decisions are awfully suspect. The partial censorship shite is BS.

He’s making the point that their policy is overly censorious.

Clearly.

Everyone should be free to talk about ivermectin. Or not talk about it. Everyone else should be free to laugh at them. Or not laugh at them. Hence the free part.

Ultimately it's still their site, their choice. I'm not taking their side, simply explaining it is what it is.

He he the one that went through that situation at that Evergreen college or his brother?

Joe Rogan had a harvard professor on his show several episodes ago. She wrote a book about testosterone because she said she is worried about how people are expected to teach bullshite because the truth might offend people.

She said its unbelievable that many of her students thank her for teaching the truth which is kind of sad that they pretty much expect to get taught a bunch of bullshite and is thankful when someone actually teaches the truth. How the frick did we get to this point?

I’m so tired of big tech shutting down people they don’t agree with.

The United States Capital should have been further down on the list, the big tech companies should be the first taken out if it has to happen.

I’m not suggesting they’re breaking the law. I think we all know they can do this, but it doesn’t make it right.

So they just deny other people's right to hear him then.

Let me stop you right there.

Is it your belief that anything that is legal is acceptable? If it is legal then no harm no foul?

This is terrible on so many levels. There's issues where they set a low bar that is selectively enforced. They prevent competitors from thriving by colluding against them to get them kicked off hosting providers. They are potentially doing something very dangerous by blocking the discussion of treatments during a pandemic. They are intertwined with politics and have a lot of influence over the political process. Their influence and manipulation dwarfs anything the Russians did, if that matters to you. The list of reasons why this is all bullshite is long.

At first they silenced Alex Jones, and you did nothing.
Then they silenced Adam Kokesh, and you did nothing (Google him).
Then, they silenced.....

20 years ago I agree with you but not now, if these big tech companies want to control who says what online then it has to go both ways. Anyone that thinks its ok that these tech companies have this much power is IMO a damn fool.

I agree no one should be silenced, but when you say this,

quote:

People who espouse the benefits of ivermectin for Covid should be able to freely discuss it while everyone else freely laughs at them.

you are dismissing the results as if they have no credibility, which is not true in the slightest.
