don’t think you can be considered a super team when your teams best player can’t shoot and has defenders giving him 10 feet of space that completely melts his brain on how to get a good shot in iso play.

He’s a big man with handles stylistically. The Nets have no one who can guard him he’s shaq level dominant at the rim. Playing with 2 All Star level players & Brook Lopez, still an elite defensive player and effective scorer.

I’d take Jrue over Kyrie any day of the week.

Bucks had damn good offense this season and a damn good defense.

In terms of two way players, not many teams, if any, had the amount of players in the Bucks have.

This would’ve been a sweep without the injuries.

Looks like they are now reporting that Harden may play tonight.

If he's really good to go then that's great. But trying to rush back from a hamstring injury sets you up for a high risk of re-injuring it. And oftentimes you feel just fine during practice or warmups and think you're good to go, but then once you hit full game speed it's a different story. As much as I clown on Harden I don't want to see him pull a KD and seriously injure himself trying to play through it.

Having a good team doesn’t make you a super team they have 1 super star and 2 mid level all star guys. Plenty of teams have that.

Taking the personality part of it? That’s an insane take if so

I wouldn’t want to deal with Kyrie off the court if I were a team, but on the court is far and away a better player than Jrue

This is the series for KD to prove just how great he is.

Will he will this team to victory. Or will he go passive and hope for James to return and bail him out.

If Harden isn't healthy, this series becomes a no lose situation for KD, but very high reward if he pulls out the series win.

He’s been a top 3 player for over a decade now, not really much left for him to prove

What if he plays extremely well but they still lose?

Without Kyrie and Harden, the Nets have no shot against the bucks on paper. They sold off nearly every bit of their depth to bring in their 3 guys

Kyrie played in the game 3 loss where Jrue scored the winning bucket.

I wouldn’t take Jrue over Harden. But Kyrie? They are about what and what in overall impact.

Only one man can rise up and save the league from no-talent Giannis moving on to the next round.

People called the 15-16 Warriors super team when they had exactly what you are describing. Hell The Ringer has an article today labeling the Clippers a superteam. A two star team with 1 top 5 level guy and one guy a top 20 level guy.

Jrue Holiday is a top 20 player, Giannis a top 5, Middleton is a top 30 player.

Hell the Nets all time leading scorer plays for the fricking Bucks.

There was a reason many people called this series the real nba finals.

As a person? Sure.

On the court? Not a chance in hell.

Jrue is a 3rd best player on a title team, at best. Kai is a 2. You gotta be nuts to take holiday over Kyrie. The difference in skill set is cavernous. Ball handling. Passing. Shooting. All a landslide.

Kai was the second best player on the cavs when they won a title. Even though it was injury Influenced... it is what it is.

Current BKN you can’t rank them any other way besides

Harden
KD
Kai

Good Lord. Your fat idol has never sniffed a championship and you are rating him ahead of Durant and Kyrie.

Silly badger

Put Harden with bron and they win every tiitle.

Put harden with klay steph and dray and they win every title.

Title is a team accomplishment. We have all the individual stats in the world to tell us who is the best player while not considering their teammates.

The difference on the defensive side of the ball dwarfs the difference on the offensive side of the ball

Kyrie defense goes from a 4 in regular season to a 7 in the playoffs.

Jrue is a 9 on d in both playoffs and reg season.

That is why offense is infinite times more valuable than defense

Jrue can never ever come close to Kai on offense. But when Kai is locked in on D he can get a lot closer to jrue on Defense just bt exerting effort. That’s why “two way players” is fools gold for the most part. Damn near anyone can defend when they need or want to.
