Saw another tweet saying Harden was "hopeful" to be back for game 5. If not, the Bucks are going to basically bully Durant into a hole and take this series

They have pretty much zero players left that are consistent facilitators and ball handlers

Obvious Durant can do those things but you don’t want him running point for 4 quarters

Harden got slightly upgraded today, not sure if he’ll play in game 5 but I’d expect him to give it a shot for game 6.

As opposed to a super team he’s playing?

Injuries are always a part of the game. Typically the healthiest team (that are equal in talent) wins.

Before the series, this was declared the “real” finals. Now the Suns and Jazz/Clipps might have something to say about that, but The Bucks are no worse than a top 4 team in the league and pretty loaded with talent.

fingers crossed for Milwaukee vs Atlanta and Utah vs. Phoenix. The powers that be in the NBA would be apoplectic

Is somebody going to clue Nash in to the fact that the Bucks lost in the playoffs the last two years when teams built a defensive wall to keep Giannis out of the paint?

They've done the same to giannis.

The issue is they don't have dj and Griffin is essentially useless.

I don’t think you can be considered a super team when your teams best player can’t shoot and has defenders giving him 10 feet of space that completely melts his brain on how to get a good shot in iso play.

Bucks made changes that made this more difficult to do because they have the shooting to make teams pay for the over commit

The clearest sign of this was the fact that they swept one of the teams that beat them last round and beat them into oblivion.

Plus it’s not like the Bucks have been a juggernaut offensively. They’ve scored in the 80s twice this series already. Scored 96 and 107 in the other two, which are pretty low for today’s NBA numbers. And despite some good raw stats, Giannis has not really killed them this series.

You're playing fast and loose with the definition of a super team when Khris Middleton is part of the Big 3 of this super team.

He’s actually be pretty good in this series defensively and has some some pop on offense.

But he’s obviously going to be outmatched over the course of a series, without all those weapons around him his life is going to be a lot harder

It's just a shame Jim Harden couldn't take his conditioning seriously enough to hold up his end of the bargain, otherwise it's an easy gsweep through the finals for the Nets.

Did yall know Jim is the best fg% defender in the playoffs after playing 5 games against the Celtics???????

Right, I don't really think that Middleton or Jrue are top 20 guys, but probably fall in that 20-30 range. Not a super team at all. IMO, a super team means you have multiple players on your team that most teams would consider a first option. The Nets have 3 of those players (and are the only team in the league with 3), the Bucks only have 1. Middleton and Holiday are 2nd or 3rd bananas at best.

Who has a futures on the Nets this season in a league dominated by super teams? <—They were going to cruise too. Need Harden back for Game 6 at least.

Agreed

Yep, and it probably has to be 3 of those. The Lakers had 2 last season, but I don't think anyone would logically call them a super team when their 3rd best player may not even be an average NBA player. I don't even know who that would have been.

This year's Nets, the KD Warriors, and the Lebron/Bosh/Wade Heat would be the last 3 Superteams, unless there's any I'm not thinking of at the moment.
