Sources say long time #Blazers assistant David Vanterpool - most recently with the #TWolves - will be on the short list for several HC jobs. DV is very well respected among league circles, both in terms of players and executives. Don’t sleep on the #Pelicans should SVG be fired.

Seriously doubt that but I would love the move. Darvin Ham or Charles Lee would be my first choice but players love Vanterpool too. Any of those guys would be better options than Stan. He’s just a coach for a different era of basketball. I hope Griff sees he doesn’t fit and rips the bandaid off but I don’t see it after just one year.
