BS ..... Trump like Reagan, set the stage for what a true Republican President should like.

I'm with Rev somewhat. Trump will be too old next go-round (yes, I know how old Biden is). I also think there is just too much baggage to overcome, especially with the way his term ended. I don't even know why he would want to run again with the intel community trapping him and leaking at every opportunity. Let Ron have this. Ron looks to be Trump with a little more savvy and polish.

IMO he was the best POTUS of our lifetime. He can say whatever he wants to. Nothing takes that away.

I would vote for Trump again if he ran, but I’d prefer DeSantis. Does that make me a rhino?

Who is better than Trump at this point? He is continually proven to be more correct every day. He also actually has real accomplishments unlike every other politicians of the last several decades.

Why would you pick Desantis over Trump? Is it just age?

The left will hate Desantis just as much. We already know Trump will work for America and fight the swamp.

Just because you’re the early adopter doesn’t mean you have impunity to stick around forever. Ask Betamax, AOL and MySpace.

He’s played his role and he needs to ride off into the sunset of kingmaker. But he’s a raging narcissist so that’s not possible and the young lion Desantis may end up getting sacrificed because of it.

I'm here, too. And DeSantis would benefit immensely from Trump's experience. He's smart enough that on Day 1 he essentially fires every f'n person the president can fire. frick "you'll lose all that institutional knowledge/experience" - I'm not the biggest fan in the world of Trump, believe he shite the bed on COVID, but he had hurdles put in front of him by the Dems and permanent government that were downright un-American. DeSantis (or Trump 2nd administration) needs to be ruthless and risky in tearing the top of federal bureaucracies down.

Seriously, why would anyone watch Hannity unless they are coming off a 2 week vacation? It's literally the only time I watch him. Out side of that, Tucker is much better and I also like Laura I but not enough for daily doses.

This is on you.

That is one factor. Another is DeSantis is more polished and educated.
Add to that, DeSantis can start with a much cleaner slate and not have the former baggage of Trump.
Both perceived or real.

Trump’s an impediment to the NWO Globalists……I can’t dismiss his tenacity.

This. I was converted to Trump in 2020 and absolutely think that he most likely won. At a minimum, Biden did not receive 81mm votes.

However, overturning states is an Atlas sized task that I just don’t think can be done.

While I was appalled at some of his behavior at time (some of it was flat out disgusting, some of it made me laugh) I could easily overlook it due to policy and where he was right when other politicians have been wrong for decades. That being said, he’s just too toxic.

Desantis can point to his victory and leadership over Covid without the numerous blunders Trump made.

I completely appreciate Trump and his ability to call out the media and stupid repeated policies but he was just to volatile. Desantis is a chance to get the same populism without the baggage.

Do you see the nasty corrupt democrats that are in office?

The media portrayal is all a game. The ignorance to think Trump was some vile person is hilarious. Don’t be manipulated by the media.

What items were just flat out disgusting? What about him was so toxic?

The democrats literally fabricated the “fine people” story to call him a racist. The media perpetuated the lie endlessly. That is disgusting.

The Dems and media portrayed him as Hitler when he was bringing about peace in the Middle East and trying to pull out of armed conflict. That is disgusting.

The democrats and media tried to undermine the COVID-19 response and stall out the economy. That is disgusting.

Of course. That’s why I can’t vote for one currently. Saying Trump was terrible on Twitter isn’t an endorsement of Democrats.

It’s just a reference because I watched it recently, but Ari Gold was a good dude and did the best for his clients. He was still a crass a-hole. Trump did what was right for America but his behavior can still be called out.

I’m the same way.

He’s been made toxic....mostly by the media but a lot of it he brought on himself. I don’t want him to run again. The lefts actions are so crazy that we should win the next elections in a landslide - we don’t need the OMB delusions fricking that up.
