People on here say something like "return LSU baseball to its proper place" etc. You are dreaming if you think we are going back to the Skip days. Not gonna happen. Also the big name coaches already have good jobs, so who ya get. Maybe the new coach will have a worse year next year than this one. Then what?

Agreed. Apparently if you don’t think CPM is the worst LSU has had then you are an apologist. Regardless of whether or not you think it’s time for change.

I get what you are saying. But to expect us to have a legitimate contender 3 out of 4 years isn’t asking too much. Getting I high level coach is possible because our university is willing to spend on a baseball program that has plenty of fanfare. You are right though. No guarantee that the program gets better.
