I think you could be projecting here. Two weeks is incredibly do-able for people with little to no survival training.

You’re telling me if you pluck someone that has never left let’s say NYC and hates the wilderness, they would survive 14 days in the wilderness? I’m talking they can’t bring any food or water with them.
So how is someone that has no serious wilderness experience going to find enough clean water and food without getting sick? I guess maybe if they get lucky and it rains or they stumble across some injured animals.

This is a perfect example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

LOL, umm nope.
How many resources is that person going to have?
A good knife, a Ferro rod to start a fire, a pot to boil water to make it safe to drink, just procuring water, cordage, compass(and how to use it), some sort of tarp to shield from the rain, wind, & sun, some sort of sleeping apparatus to lay down on, how do you deal with diarrhea and/or constipation, what about those nasty skeeters & other biting insects, food gathering...
Its a lot harder than most folks realize.

Can you say one thing that isn’t stupid?

A big part of the challenge is mental. You are a foolish troll if you think that it would be incredibly doable with the entitled seflie taking douche bags wandering our planet. They lack the heart.
As Anthony Hopkins said in a movie about similar circumstances: They would die of shame.
