Do these protect you from businesses asking/requiring proof of being vaccinated or does it only protect you from the government?

I would think so, but I’ll add that day cares and schools require immunization records. So there is a precedent.

I don’t think HIPPA applies if you voluntarily provide your own medical information

The Fourth Amendment protects from illegal searches by government entities, primarily law enforcement. The only instance in which a private person or entity’s search would be subject to the Fourth Amendment is if they are doing the search on behalf of a government entity at the government entity’s request.

Which businesses may very well being doing soon when the vaccine is mandated or you’re not allowed to work or travel.

Don't just mindlessly downvote.

HIPPA only deals with what health care providers can disclose. What you disclose is your own choice.

The fourth amendment does not prevent your local grocery from requiring a vaccine card.

If they choose terrible business practice and policy they're choosing not to do business with me and millions like me. Their choice.
If Society wants to go down this parallel/dual economy route, they're not going to like the results. Excluding white males age 25-55 is not the demographic you want to cut out of your business model.

Even then, that might not constitute a search for the purposes of the Fourth Amendment. A search under the Fourth Amendment has to be a search of a place or somewhere that the person has a reasonable expectation of privacy. Not sure how asking for vaccination status proof fits into that standard.

No, it shouldn’t. Do you want private persons or businesses to be subject to all of the requirements of the Constitution? I don’t, because those were intended as protections from government intrusion.

bullshite, all you give is your name and some don't even ask for that at the walk up clinics.
How do you collect/mandate info on a million John Smiths?

So can I deny someone because they are in a wheelchair? ADA says otherwise, shouldn't be any different than someone unvaccinated. If we are going to have these laws (ADA and Civil Rights Act), should be applied equally.

How would you apply laws that specifically deal with a certain portion of the population equally?
