Horrible par on 17 for Bryson.

The convo just now between Hovland and his caddie was awesome.
"I kinda want to try this"
"How much to cover the crap"

Hovland is so easy to root for.
No such thing as a horrible par on that hole.

That was great
I thought he had more than enough room there, though. Play it back in his stance, open the club face, there was room with his feet to win left, and peel something back to the right.
128 with a 7 or so was nothing to cover, especially with that lie.

Hell of a shot by Morikawa
Posted on 5/20/21 at 12:43 pm to classicgold
Morikawa’s gotta make this one, right?

I like Speith this week. Bruce and Hovland performing well.
Got $100 on a Finau top 10 finish, got $25 on a Speith victory.

So are the afternoon guys about to face stronger winds?

Morikawa can't putt at all
Being reliant on switching to the claw when you are 24 doesn't seem ideal

Well Pony finished E at least, so he is not sunk just yet, he is taking on water though.

Why are they allowing players to ground their club in the sand?

They’re not considered bunkers here

Definitely. He plays loose and has fun out there.
When he shanked a chip in the St Jude last year and started cracking up.

I have a feeling the scores are going to be low this week, and the talking heads that talked up the doom and gloom are going to have their dicks in their hands
I feel like anytime the media goes all in like they did, it ends up belly up
Your golf takes are truly a thing of wonder.
Scoring average is over 74, higher than at Winged Foot

Anybody notice Daly in dead last? Didn't expect much, but woulda been cool to see him sneak in for a cut.
If Speith can get his putter going, like he did there, he may have a real shot this weekend.
