We are likely set at QB for the next six years

With the transfer portal you can go from set at QB for 3-4 years to scrambling to find a back up QB with quickness

Love your optimism. Not only will we not get Manning but may not get Holstein since I don't think he wants to sit behind Walker. May have to wait for the 2024 class for another great HS QB. We could but may have to be a HS QB from another state or a transfer. If Holstein does commit to us that would tell me he loves LSU and is one confident kid full of swag and moxy.

QBs can be injured, not pan out or transfer immediately, so you can never think you are set there. But LSU does have a seemingly good situation at the moment.

I’d bet straight up that in 5 years the guy playing QB for LSU is someone you have never heard of.
