Vaccine or death? The epitome of the a false dilemma:
That’s the other part of the equation. He’s pushing a false narrative. His words make it seem as though getting covid is a certain death sentence, which is misleading and could be characterized as a lie.

Where y'all on this?
I'm with the President.

But again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by that and I agree with that also.
And here is cnn pushing this...
quote:
I’m not that confident,” Cuomo said, adding: “You’re going to say to the American people now, ‘Here’s a vaccine, it was new, it was done quickly, but trust this federal administration and their health administration that it’s safe? And we’re not 100 percent sure of the consequences.’ I think it’s going to be a very skeptical American public about taking the vaccine, and they should be.”
So again, tell me who was pushing this vaccine as unsafe?
Democrats.

Graham and his father are apostates that fled the true gospel years ago for money and power.

Because as I stated above, he seems afraid to die. A sentiment no Christian who truly believes in heaven should feel.
After reading the full quote, I didn't take it as being afraid to die, but rather his belief that it is the prudent thing to do to stay healthy. If he had said that he believes you should stop smoking or wear seatbelts, I would take that the same way.
Easter people do not fear death, but that doesn't mean that they should long for it. You do not know what your mission here is.

What has occurred to me: This would be a perfect time for the left, to introduce the bigger/stronger version of the China bat flu, because the big majority of unvaccinated people are conservative leaning.

quote:No but do you pray as much as he did? doubtful, you don't even know his name isn't Jesus. If you prayed 1% as much as Christ, our heavenly Father would have told you their real names.
Did Jesus have vaccinations?

But the,” before it’s too late” comment implies that getting covid is a death sentence, which is demonstrably false.

Are you sure the current vaccine would work on a bigger, stronger version of the China flying rat flu? My admittedly limited understanding of that situation is this: new strain, new vaccine. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Arminian theology will always result in some sort of self-salvation bullshite.

As opposed to Calvinist theology that leads to pride and delusions of grandeur.

Apparently it does to you, but I just took it to mean before you get it.

Well no.
Eta: unless you're including Christ, Paul, the other Apostles, Augustine, etc. Then sure.

If God has decided that COVID kills me there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Maybe he should quit trying to speak for God.

Blacks have the lowest vaccination rate of any race/ethnicity. But they also make up a small portion of the population.

“ If you wait too long to get the inoculation, it could be too late.”
This is how you interpreted this statement?

Yep, his words were clearly meant in a very literal way. If you wait too long you may get covid and covid has been known to be deadly.
But as you mentioned a few posts above, a reading of the full quote is necessary for proper context.

I don't know either.

Peace. We'll wait for the opening of the Religion Talk board to continue, which is never. Ftr, I don't know if I'm a Calvinist or not but I believe in the absolute sovereignty of God and all that entails.

Actually, this probably describes my position as well.
