Would you use that logic for all forms of medical treatment or preventative care? I'm guessing not

No, but he’s portraying Covid as a death sentence when it’s not, and generating irrational fears.

I don’t get all the hate for this one. Against wearing seatbelts also? Life jackets? Franklin does amazing work. I love what he does supporting our wounded warriors and his emergency response work.

I never said I hated him. I said I was disappointed in his comments about the vaccine

I was referring to the general comments in this thread, not you directly.

This is going to upset the people that buy Billy Graham’s greatest hits on DVD at the Ingles near me.

His target market is Boomers. Can’t blame a guy for wanting to keep the cash flow alive.

Calvinist believe that some people were born for hell and some were born for heaven, hence the pride and delusions of grandeur. According to their theology, the individual has no choice in the matter.

Technically, they believe a person can do bad on his own, but not choose for good.
What’s never been explained to me is how a person choosing a particular sin isn’t usurping God’s sovereignty?
Let’s say a person chooses to murder someone and God can’t stop him, how is that not usurping God’s sovereignty?
And if you say God ordains the evil, you are contradicting the Bible verse that says God isn’t the author or evil.

A vaccine made by man with who knows what embedded in it ain't got nothing to do with God. Franklin can suck it, they ain't injecting me with that bullshite. No way, no how

Well said, Revelator.

And I don't trust a govt that pushes this. They can't balance a check book. They legalize baby murder. The promote sexual perversion. I could go on.

A more reasonable response would have been: "believers need to to do their home work before injecting something into the bodies which are the temple of the Holy Spirit. If you can't with good conscience do that, then don't."

You may be correct on the deeds flow. I was speaking directly to salvation. A friend of mine is a Calvinist scholar/preacher and predestination is a core part of his and many other Calvinists doctrine.

At this point, there is nothing immoral or contrary to Christian values in getting the vaccine although many think anti-vaxxers are generally Conservatives or Christians.

Having said that, there is no question that this is all a precursor to the way the Mark of the Beast will be implemented. I always thought it would be a chip implant, but they're already talking about these invisible quantum dot tattoos which will hold all of the information necessary to control everything you do - bank information, vaccine status, health records, all tied into a social credit scoring system (already in use in China). This is where it's headed.

Take a look at what's coming up. Part of the reason they relaxed the mask mandate is to create the impression that the vaccine is working. They're reintroducing us to the freedom we've always taken for granted until last March. At some point in the coming months, companies will demand proof of Covid-19 vaccination in order to have access to the goods or services they offer. That's a logical first step (think of it as conditioning) into what the end game will be i.e. absolute control over every aspect of your life.

One of my closest friends from the past is a Bi-vocational pastor and we left one church to help him form a new one. Little did I know he had converted to Reformed theology ( Calvinism) and it put such a strain on our relationship, we left the church and are no longer close.

IMO, Franklin & his pops are nothing more than the “Christian/religious” arm of the Deep State. BG died with a net worth of 21 million dollars. Again, jmo, but teaching & spreading the word of God should be a calling not a job that makes you wealthy.

If Christ was rejected and persecuted likewise his disciples will be also. A church that appeals to the masses is probably not very Godly. The love of money, not money, is the root of all evil. Money itself is dead and has no power. But a rich man serves his master, whoever that may be.
