So what?
So what? I was just laughing about how disingenuous he was being about the pattern of helicopters.

I live a quarter mile from where the medical helicopter is stationed in Baton Rouge, it’s overhead at all hours. Thank your for your explanation though. You’re going after the wrong guy here

I lived next to Children's for a few years during the 1990s. I don't recall any helicopters.
It would suck for that to happen after I bought. I don't see the benefit of financial compensation, rather taking action for them to move it back near where it was prior.

To be clear, I don’t think the residents are upset that children are receiving medical treatment and it’s a little strange that everyone in this thread built this straw man.

These morons should've thought about that before moving directly in front of a HOSPITAL.

You realize the hospital moved the helicopter pad right?

Yup, I keep waiting for all the posters who always complain about the “non profit” hospitals that seemingly print money to descend on this thread.
I think the aggrieved just want be assured they’ll be compensated for the loss in property value that resulted from the helicopters.

No one was complaining about the helicopters till they moved the helipad to another side of the hospital. It’s funny that most have ignored the fact that children’s completely ignored the permit process for this and didn’t go through the proper steps to build this.

Ain’t nobody’s property values low Uptown right now.
Hope these folks are ready, flight team will be coming in after midnight tonight.

Exactly, I don’t really agree with a lawsuit over it but they have every right to be upset about it.
If the make a wish foundation has an unsanctioned outdoor concert next to my house every weekend I’m sure as shite going to be pissed about that too

Big segment of uptowners love those stupid assed signs for every cause du jour?

I have followed it a little bit and Children’s has pretty much acknowledged that didn’t follow the rules and said though we are LCMC. The residents don’t have much of a choice.

I fully expected to read the article and find they recently moved next to an existing helipad.
Now I'm rooting for the homeowners.

That’s a fricking bold move going after a children’s hospital for an annoyance. Sorry, you can’t bring your sick kid in this way, it fricks up my view
Posted on 5/7/21 at 8:34 pm to 9Fiddy
It’s funny how people see a children’s hospital being sued and automatically assume the hospital couldn’t possibly be in the wrong.

I'd love to see the helicopter deliver a mammoth paint balloon on those neighbors.

The hospital could upgrade to an EC-135 like Acadian uses. It's impressive how quiet they are.

Thirty minutes potentially every few weeks?
It’s an active helicopter pad that’s used daily
I wonder if they'll also file suit against the fighter jets that buzz the area almost daily
