Yeah, the first chance they could do this and avoid the tax was today.

This is a good deal for us.

I'm a little surprised any of it is fully guaranteed but he has proven to be a decent reserve player, and at that price, its a good deal.

Do you put a lot of stock in these partially guaranteed deals?

Decent to the league but compared to some guards on this team he's fricking elite.

What kills me is the Pels expecting him to knock down 3s in huge situations when they're down. I've seen it like 5 times already and I'm beside myself for the guy because he shouldn't be expected to do that yet.

Hes a good defender that can get to the line and knock down some catch and shoot 3s. I think we've been waiting for a guard we've had for two seasons to do this.

Very impressed with his defensive skills and he has a few tricks in his bag on the other end

Having a playable 6'7 guy is worth it's weight in gold really

What's this mean about Hart and/or Ball?

Nothing really. He's on minimum money basically. Probably won't have a bearing on those two

That one or both may not be here next year.

Griff 100% wants Hart back on this team, that I can guarantee. You have never once heard his name being floated as trade bait, and everyone in the organization beams when asked about him.

Ball on the other hand... well, I didn't expect him back regardless, he will get more money from someone than we want to pay

I’m curious to see what his contract will look like. I don’t see us overpaying him imo. Especially if we are in the lottery/having to keep Bledsoe/overpaying Lonzo.

Marshall provides 70% of what Hart does for a small fraction of the price

It has no impact on them.

He's going to be making like 2.5 mill a year.

Naji drives to the hole a whole lot more than Lonzo does
