Makes me think we should keep DC on lockdown for about 20 years. Make them all work from home via video. Stop all the 'social friendships' = make them associate only with their own electorate.
Would love to see a requirement that any representative have lived within the district they represent for at least 20 years prior to first candidacy.
Need to do a lot more to ensure that they are really capable of doing the JOB rather than just be good fundraisers. Also - nobody who is not eligible to vote for the candidate should be allowed to contribute one thin dime. Would need some restrictions to prevent filthy rich candidates from swamping a more middle income rival.
