Thanks
Didn’t think he was but didn’t see it noted on the app

Hopefully he won’t have any setbacks & will come back better next season

What about swinging the bat? Could he DH at all?

He definitely could do that. But he won't be finishing the throwing program until April. An aggressive schedule with no setbacks would have him 100% for the second half of SEC play.

ETA: Once he has full mobility and has regained strength/muscle in the arm and shoulder, he can swing all he wants with no issues.

I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt especially with some personal things he's dealt with. I don't think it is fair to be extremely harsh on him. He has shown time and time again that he can go on a run and still give something to our program.

Fans like this, the ones that gave Stony Brook hi 5’s after waxing LSU on the road, are the reason for the embarrassing state of this program. Let’s continue to find excuses and not look at facts.

for pitchers, Tommy John is typically a full calendar year recovery time.
sometimes a little more.

Coach Paul has dealt with Coronavirus and a ton of injuries this year. It's tough to know how good this team really is because of those injuries and the crazy state of the world at the moment.

I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt especially with some personal things he's dealt with. I don't think it is fair to be extremely harsh on him. He has shown time and time again that he can go on a run and still give something to our program.

Tough loss but not a season killer for us. Replaceable. Our bullpen needs to step up if were going to have a chance to make a run

I know it's frustrating but all I'm saying is that I still think Coach has one more rabbit foot somewhere.

This is LSU. We dont rely on a "rabbits foot"

He has gone on big time runs and I am not willing to give up on that yet

This is LSU. We dont rely on late season "runs" to get into the fricking NCAA tourney.

We can still salvage this season.

This is LSU. "Salvaging the season" should at worst be a regional host. Not making it to fricking Hoover.

quote:

Plus we have some sisters of the poor coming up on the schedule

This is LSU. It shouldnt matter who is on the schedule.

Have you had this loser mentality your entire developement, or is it a new development youre trying to come to terms with.

*Disclaimer* I know we arent going to win every game or every series as the parity in college baseball is at an all time high. However, LSU should go into every game and EVERY series KNOWING they can win. Thats not the case anymore, and thats unacceptable.

Believe me. I understand the frustration. I really do.

That said, this coach has gotten us to 5 CWS in 13 full seasons (this season is the 14th full season. 2020 not included)

5 CWS
8 Super Regionals
11 Post Season berths

Has only missed the postseason 3 times. We have got to realize how difficult it is to compete in baseball now. The best players go pro, scholarship limits, TOPS and so on have really hurt us recently. Keep the faith.

Baseball is tough. All you need is one good swing of the pine and your season changes. We are not done yet

Most of the fans are not giving up on the season, I just think most are giving up on Mainieri.

It's too bad for Travinski but I'm starting to feel better about Milazzo at least. I think the injury before the season, set Milazzo back some. I don't think he was in top shape when the season started and maybe the injury was still lingering a bit. That arm seems to be coming back pretty good now and he has had a few decent at bats lately.

Also Oregon State would have done to us what they did in 2018, if they didn't bench their ACE in 2017 Omaha.

Did this injury happen a few weeks ago when he came out suddenly in the middle of an AB and they sent Doughty or Wyeth in?

Sophomore. He was out last summer with a knee injury and now this. He's losing a lot of valuable reps.

P do you know if he was a pitcher in HS and it’s an overuse deal or just one of those freak injuries.
Collier Cranford had ucl surgery his sr year due to overuse when he was a kid

Wasn’t Cranford’s Dad his coach when he was younger? Doubt his Dad would overuse him but I don’t know. These injuries just happen just like ACL’s in football
