Yeah, Not real sure I would equate some late round picks this year with Jets, JB, and CEH.

4 of the 7 drafted opted out

A 5th(McMath) was hurt most of the year.

Of course after a huge underclassmen exodus last year

3 of the 7 players didn't play though and one quit early.

Well, they did at least go 15-0 with the best season of all-time (competition-wise) the year before though.

One year removed from the perfect season complete with a near awards sweep (Heisman included) and NC, commonly mentioned among tGOAT in the sport’s history.

Semantics though, we should be able to attain that and more every year I know is the Rant’s belief.

I think the previous 2 year record for LSU was 13. It’s amazing what having a real offense can do for a program.

And ESPN never mentioned LSU as a program that was a major contributer to the NFL, but how they lauded Bama and Clemson.

Chase, Marshall, Cox, and Shelvin went in the top 4 rounds.

Also if you take away everybody's late round picks, LSU is still higher.

The year after it lost most of the draft picks, one of the best in the country sat out, passing game coordinator left for NFL, DC left for head coaching position, lost a Heisman trophy winning QB and the starting QB was lost during the season. Not that any of those things should be too difficult to overcome for our very reasonable and rational fan base.

Dylan Moses (WHO????!!!!) would have gotten a ring, been a state hero, and gotten drafted in the first round had he not been a traitor.

Only difference is he would have had to wait a couple years for that Charger....
