I preface this with 55 out of 55 years of unblemished heterosexuality: I love this guy. It makes me happy to know that socialist leftists grimace with anger when they hear his name.

DeSantis is just like Trump except he has a grasp on policy, is actually conservative, doesn’t spend 21 hours a day shitposting on Twitter and settling scores with c-level celebrities, isn’t trying to destroy the GOP

If Desantis does run for prez in '24, he should select Don Jr. or OK Governor Kevin Stitt as his running mate.

It’s obviously a pointless hypothetical, but I wonder what he’d be like if Trump had never been president, assuming he’d have been elected. If you think about it he’s just plain spoken and doesn’t back down from a fight; it’s not like politicians never had those qualities. He’s not a character like Trump so I don’t think it’s fair to say he’s copying him, but Trump erased any doubts that standing up can still work and DeSantis definitely benefited from it, and Trump is arguably the reason he got elected.
I love the guy but it sucks that people who’ll fight are rare on the right these days and we have to celebrate them like they’re unicorns.

The local along with the national media is trying so hard to "get" him. They reaize how much power and support he is gaining. Funny how the media always attacks any threat to the left.
