You can hold your money in a denomination other than the US dollar. Open an account at a bank like HSBC that is international. That allows you to travel with easy access to your money, and allows you to hold your money in the denomination of a country that ISNT debasing it’s currency, thus maintaining it’s value. Not everyone is printing money and throwing it out to anyone in exchange for their vote.

I see so many mixed reviews on this and can't wrap my head around a safe approach to this type investment as in, how to buy it, where to store it, etc., etc.
My hedge is land. I have been looking for land to lesson the cash on hand. Commodities seem to be inflation "protected" but not inflation proof. TIPS is a bit of enigma because it's tied to CPI which is a made up number but all of this crap is taking its toll on me. Work all my life, skimped all my life and these stupid sons a bitches want to destroy the country so they can rebuild it the way they think it should look.

Repeat after me, "The democrats will confiscate my IRA's, 401k's and investment accounts". Repeat that over and over and over until it sinks in your skull. A few years ago they (blood sucking democrats) were planning to do that, luckily, the Repubs regained control of Congress. There is nothing to stop them now. Just a matter of time. Look for evidence the democrats are about to move on confiscation. Like "IRAs'is raciss".

You'll thank me later.

you could put some in universal life insurance.

But you’d be a lot smarter not to do so. At least until the new Estate limits get written into law. Almost no one is better off with a death benefit than a simple stock/bond +/- REIT portfolio. You currently need to be worth over $11MM single or double if married for most good arguments to use whole life insurance as a smart investment.

My concern as well.
Like the idea of crypto, but there's no inherent value.
Gold and Silver have industrial uses. Unlike Crypto.

"Buy term - invest the rest" and the rest being invested in anything but insurance. That was a term used back in the day by AL Williams (I forget who they are today). But insurance is never a good way to save.

This has been happening since just about right after the Federal Reserve started by both sides.

Premium gas hit $3.45 already and is going up everyday.
Everything has been going up for years and now inflation is surging even higher

In the race to inflation, Venezuela has a big head start, but Biden has a plan to catch up.

I can feel the inflation at the grocery store already. It usually lags 6 months to a year after the triggers.

Maybe - but that wasn't the question. The question was about inflation. If "they come for that, too" - it doesn't matter where or what you have it in, other than something offshore or something.
