Techies are generally afraid of God, faith, and religious people. Therefore you'll want to buy land in those places.
I would avoid the places the Techie Class wants to be. Even if you can beat them in the front door right now, long term they'll just raise property taxes to the point where you're gonna have to sell.

Gold and Silver have industrial uses. Unlike Crypto.
In 1920, a twenty dollar gold piece could buy a couple of nice suits. Today a $20 gold piece will still buy a couple of nice suits (or more).

Maybe - but that wasn't the question. The question was about inflation. If "they come for that, too" - it doesn't matter where or what you have it in, other than something offshore or something.
In the days of the Soviet Union, Russians would get on line anytime a line formed not knowing what was at the other end, because no matter what it was it was something they knew they needed or at least something they could trade for something they needed.
