Closed some 11/19 $4.50c positions today for a nice 100% gain.
Congratulations! I decided to do Jan 2023 $10 and $5 calls on this because they are cheap. If they do break ground these should pay off well. If not I'm not out a ton of money

Thanks… but I definitely should have sold them all instead of getting greedy. Now I’m a week out and pretty out of the money.
Not a huge dollar amount though.

Been a while since we’ve discussed… how is everyone feeling about TELL these days?
Posted on 2/1/22 at 4:51 pm to ChasinTails
I’m just holding. I feel like a read a new article every week about how the Louisiana will benefit from high LNG prices in Europe and Asia.
Here’s another one in the BR Business Report from today. Seems bullish for TELL…
There’s also some lawsuit against Souki from an investor. Not sure what to make of that..

My cost basis is below $1.00. You must be looking for the SLI thread.

Today's Chat with Tell on the Company web site has CEO fully commit to begin construction of Driftwood in April. CEO Charif stated Bechtel will be on site in April.
His position is that the company has funds for the first year, and that they will get financing in that time frame.
His logic is that the need for LNG and this project are so obviuos that he is in the driver's seat so far as choosing who finances it. (my cliff notes version makes it sound more cocky than he does.)

I'm all in for the long-haul but my interpretation of Souki's comments:
He does not yet have financing for the project, prospects are uncertain, and this self-funding initiative is not quite desperation but instead is intended to avoid delays that could imply Driftwood collapse.
Remember - the Biden regime has threatened financial/banking firms to not fund any fossil fuel projects.
Let's go Brandon.

Good tire-kicking perspective on today's announcement, RK.

I didn't love the message yesterday.. seems like financing is delayed and construction will begin but it's not really funded.

Interesting and I get where you can see that but I read it the complete opposite.
They are in a strong position in regards to the financing and they can afford to take more time to get it right. I thought the biggest takeaway was that he said the board was so confident in the financing that they gave full approval to start construction.

I like your optimism and hope you're right. Seems risky to deplete cash reserves if financing is available.
Regardless, I'm enjoying the ride with hopes of a $25+ share price at some point.

I hope you're right, but Souki has been promising construction would begin at the end of Q1 22 for at least 7-8 months now.. Announcing a delay would crush the SP short term; so we get this spin yesterday instead; his downplaying of FID was somewhat troubling to hear too; and will the construction even be substantial or more road widening and land clearing? Bechtel isn't going to invest substantial resources into this project until it is actually funded and real.

Natural gas CH4 is the cleanest combustible fuel short of hydrogen itself despite the fact that some stupid eco-nuts are trying to ban it in NYC and Calif.

If it was to reach over $25, what would the time frame look like in your mind?
Posted on 2/3/22 at 4:47 am to PierPunk
i bought for the first time yesterday. Been on my watchlist for sometime now. In at 2.38 figured winter storms could get nat gas spiking
