Best city if you were a young single professional?

If you had a re-do of your late 20s single, unmarried, and making 70K+
What city in America would you pick and why? Our oldest son got a job offering in Raleigh, NC as a data analyst and also an IT position in Salem, OR.
He's considered:
Atlanta, GA
Raleigh, NC
Ann Arbor, Mi
Columbus, Oh
Pittsburgh, PA
Boise, ID
Salem, OR
Omaha, NE
Des Moines, IA

Pittsburgh would be my choice. Underrated city. Every time I go (to see my in-laws) it’s a blast. I can only imagine hitting those bars if I were single.

Chicago from April to October is incredible. ETA, of those, I would go Pittsburgh.

Scratch Salem, OR off list until married.

I’m in Raleigh and I’d definitely consider it for him. Lots to do near by and lots of new tech companies in the area. I can’t comment on the night life but I’m sure there will be plenty of that for him to figgure out.

Raleigh’s got a lot of the gay. Probably need to pick a less liberal southern city for this argument.
