Exactly. I’m tired of scrolling downward. Nobody else but those two are reading all that shite.

These 2 twats. What kind of life are these 2 leading (or not leading) to take that much time to carefully craft a response like that with all the complicated formatting involved.

That's unreal and rather pathetic.

I really hope you’re correct; but this sounds very unbelievable. I mean, why would she leave for less money than she is currently making? I get that the power of returning home is a reason and pull for her to come; but can’t see that being enough to compensate for a few $100k she’d be leaving on the table.

I'm curious besides the base salary what the incentives total up to. Unless they are promising specific upgrades none of us are aware of

Man I hope you're right. But that just seems too good to be true.

I could see Scott including this in his package to her - new renderings, upgrade specifics, etc.

Especially if it’s true that she’s unhappy that Baylor’s building their new arena off campus.

I mean it makes no sense that she keeps going on Jordy’s show.

It would make sense if she is interested in coming to LSU. In HS she showed keen insights by going to Nirth Louisiana to play for Leon Barmore, despite her love for LSU. The HC at LSU was not up to the standard of Barmore.

Agreed; but with the Covid hit on the budget and fundraising likely a bit of a struggle right now with all the Title IX stuff, it would seem very difficult for Woodward to promise much in the way of upgrades any time soon.

I’m just tempering my expectations on this. I really want it to be true; but will believe it when I see it announced officially.

Baylor's New arena will be right next to the current Ferrell Center. It's on campus

There's been talk of a new basketball facility on LSU property closer to the river. That's been talk since Wade was hired.
I bet they selling her on that too.

CWW wants a BB facility that includes coaches offices. The current facility is locker room and courts only. CWW wants offices, video room, and weight room

He also wants staff that is similar to FB but smaller in scale. Recruiting coordinator, media producer, and dedicated training room staff.

False. Here’s an article from a week ago.

LINK

quote:

The 7,000-seat basketball pavilion, announced two years ago with a lead gift of $100 million from an unnamed Baylor family, will include practice and office facilities for both women’s and men’s basketball teams.

Baylor officials said then that the new arena would be built on campus adjacent to the 10,300-seat Ferrell Center at University Parks Drive and La Salle Avenue, with groundbreaking expected during the first quarter of this year.

That was before the pandemic gripped the nation and Baylor and other universities were forced to make deep budget cuts. Baylor President Linda Livingstone announced plans to reduce Baylor’s projected $750 million budget by about $75 million to compensate for pandemic-related costs and lost revenue.

Livingstone, Athletics Director Mack Rhoades and Waco Mayor Dillon Meek confirmed Baylor is considering another site closer to downtown for the new pavilion as the campus, which spread across the Brazos River with the construction of McLane Stadium, continues to expand its borders.

While no decision has been made, school officials are giving strong consideration to building the pavilion on land near the Baylor-owned Clifton Robinson Tower on the other side of Interstate 35 from McLane Stadium. That area is near the ongoing Riverfront project on city-owned land along the river. The development will feature shops, office space, apartments and restaurants.

quote:

While many are excited about the possibility of the new pavilion being built along the river closer to downtown, Mulkey prefers an on-campus facility.

“Many years ago, the previous administration said that Scott and I deserve a new arena and that it would be built on campus,” Mulkey said. “That is the last I really knew and a new administration has taken over, and I understand that no decision has been made on where the location would be. But I absolutely want it on campus. All the sports are now on campus and there is just something to be said about a campus, college-town feel, and I would love for it to be on campus.
