It’s not just her death in a vacuum. It’s how if you shoot a protestor actually assaulting you, you get charged like Saint Kyle.

It’s how Jacob Blake, a rapist, gets told “I’m proud of you” by the future Vice President just because he got shot resisting police.

Nothing happens in a vacuum.

It's fricking nauseating that this is the reality we live in. Kinda jealous OP doesn't realize it.

Easy to understand

Most people around here won't watch the video then form an opinion.

Their opinion is already formed generally based on their political leanings, and they watch the video with that extreme bias and contort the facts to try and talk up their side.

If Trump was President and the cop was white and she was black do you think things would have played out the same way? Her getting shot is not the double standard the way it is getting handled and the media coverage is. You must be short a few IQ points if you can’t grasp that.

Only one was trying to climb through the window. Interestingly, nobody else tried after that.

So lethal force on an unarmed protester is ok to regain control? Quite the precedent to set. Odd that it seems to have only happened once in the last year given the amount of "protesting" going on

We all know who the CPA was and the media reporting sites haven't backed down from reporting his name.
He's black, a progressive thugacrat who on his face book page has mentioned murdering Trump supporters.

He's also still in hiding with his family.

If he feels he did a good job he should come out and say so in front of the cameras.

He doesn't and won't.

Tell me about how you watched the video and think killing her was necessary.

Shooting an unarmed trespasser without warning? In any jurisdiction in the country this guy is up on charges.

Your lack of self awareness is staggering.

If he was that concerned about the Trump supporters and their uninvited tour of the Capitol building why didn’t he just start wasting people? Bottom line is the dead person was a white Trump supporter and that’s generally not an offense in this new normal.

Yeah, she was an unauthorized intruder climbing through a window into the inner area of a federal building with dozens of sitting US congressmen and women inside.
... and with dozens of heavily armed Capitol police standing by immediately behind her who did absolutely nothing to attempt to stop her.

The POS who murdered her with a gunshot to the neck from about four feet away gave no warning. He skulked up laterally, out of her field of vision, and deliberately executed her.

Now how in the world do you draw a legitimate comparison with the other incidents you're referencing?

No one died. Had they, someone would have been charged.

If they hopped the fence, or got close enough to begin attempting to enter a window? Not a goddamn chance. They’d have been shot so many times the video wouldn’t be able to stay up on reputable sites.

I agree that shooting her was probably a reasonable decision by the cop.

There is a big difference in the motivation of the shooting victims however.

She was a patriot fighting an injustice.

The others were common thugs evading justice.

I formed mine when I watched the video.

It was murder.

the cops let them all in. some were getting guided tours. barricades were removed. it is of my firm belief that it was set up this way to get DC protected by military and say all Trump supporters are domestic terrorists.

Ashli was no different than any one else going through, she was unarmed and was shot.

he could have tasered her, pepper sprayed her. he took her life. it was murder.

Negative. What ""contortion"" are you referencing?

Sure, but that only speaks to the double standard. It says nothing about whether this was actually justified or not. That’s my question, as many here seem to want this officer charged with murder.

But they didn't. What happened was bad enough, by the end of the multi night mess you had somewhere around 100 officers injured.

The Communists(that's what they are)pressed right up to the fence trying to force just such a response. They didn't get it.

Unlike the murdering bastard at the Capitol

Do USCP carry Tasers? If not, why not?

The shooter was not in uniform which could explain that, but if she was such a threat why didn't the geared up cops right next to her detain her?

Exactly. Getting bogged down in the particulars misses the entire point.
