Want to hear the legal rationale for not prosecuting the teens who killed Mohammad Anwar?

D.C. Police Chief: Prosecuting Teen Who Killed Uber Eats Driver As Adult Won’t ‘Bring Back The Lost Loved One’
Well frick, I guess no murderers should ever be prosecuted unless Harry Houdini is around to bring the murder victim back from the dead.
ETA: Daily Wire is reporting that these two girls were involved in other car-jackings this year.

Normally, the murder of a Pakistani immigrant would capture media attention for weeks, but with the killers being black teen girls, it quickly disappeared. The girls, aged 13 and 15, were also able to reach a plea deal that allows them to “avoid detention in prison facilities and will not be held past the age of 21,” The Daily Wire’s Ian Haworth previously reported.
Contee was also asked if he believed the 15-year-old girl should be tried as an adult for her alleged crime, to which Contee replied:
“The 15-year-old would not be charged as an adult. You know, obviously, this is a tragic case and, you know, charging this person as an adult [who’s] a juvenile … does not bring back the lost loved one in this case,” said Acting Chief Contee, “And certainly, again, the 15-year-old would not be eligible as a Title 16 case. You know, and it’s not really pointing fingers at anyone – the courts or anyone.”

I wonder what would happen in Pakistan to these girls?

They'll end up helping NASA colonize Mars...

Ok, lets implement Pakistan punishments for these girls then...

There is no rationale. Its complete bullshite. 13 and 15 is plenty old enough to know that carjacking is a serious crime....let alone speeding away while the victim is still hanging onto the door. Getting off without jail time is a slap in the face to the victim’s family and law abiding people

If this doesn’t show someone the utter and complete f*cking failure that is affirmative action, then that person is a f*cking idiot.

These kids getting plea deals is a disgrace to the legal system in this country.
I would refer to it as the Justice System, but that would be laughable.

there are several carjackings that we have had so far this year where we’re seeing individuals that are involved in multiple, multiple cases. So clearly I think that speaks to us really examining, as a community, the accountability that’s in place.
talks about needing accountability and doesn’t charge them as adults

What he said is true. However, prosecuting them as adults might very well prevent the family of their next victims from losing a loved one.

I will never work or visit an urban ****hole where I know I won’t get justice should I get killed, or where I will be prosecuted for being white should I legitimately defend my self with my pistol. That includes Atlanta. I’m thankful I have no need to go to such places.

Anybody that falls for this cop-out needs to be neutered. How the frick can they use that as justification if the races were changed? They're literally saying what's done is done so no need to for the perpetrators to face justice. Unbelievable.

I wonder if DJT would have charged these girls with Federal civil rights violations if he were still POTUS?
Not sure if you can even charge minors with something like that.

I was pondering the same thing. It appears juvenile prosecutions are doable in the federal system, but rare.

Prosecuting them as adults might keep them from each spitting out six chillens likely to follow the same path. This compounding effect is why crime is increasing so dramatically in certain communities.

They would probably be slaves so they wouldn’t have been able to be out on the town killing anyone.
