Brennan and Johnson balls deep in competition

Competition breeds success. This battle will force one of these guys to step up their game and make them both better QBs. Regardless of who wins the starting job, it's a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that LSU is stacked at the QB position now and for the foreseeable future.

Brennans throw looks like its about 40 yards further than Maxs.

Brennan’s throw was better
Away from where the defender would be
Max’s pass drifted towards the field

Max still has work to be done on his deep throws

Mr. skinny fat is always going to look better on deep throws with no rush in his face. Max has the poise to make a play in crucial downs at the end of games. Can’t teach that

Baby Lorenzen will win the job

Dude, it's one throw in practice without defenders on the field. You can't judge who will be the better qb based on this.

Anybody who knows anything football can see there is a BIG difference in those two balls...even the WR coach speaks about it to the guys

Look who can throw a football with no lineman. You’re better than this.

Soon as the other qb family starts hollering racism he will be starting this season!

Yall do know that is not the only pass they threw yesterday, and that yesterday is not the only day they will throw a pass or passes, don't you?

LSU has never in it’s history had so much talent at QB at any one time.
I just wish they were all either right handed or left handed.

I wonder why TJ wasn't in the OP?

Judging a QB w/o someone across from them trying to kill them is leaves much to be desired.
Also the threat of the QB tucking and running opens up a lot of things. Not saying he needs to be Mike Vick but just good enough to be worried about. Running was the most underrated thing Burrow did.

Brennan was the highest rated deep ball passer in the SEC before he got hurt.
