Biden White House in talks with airlines on vaccine passports; will issue guidance

I thought the Turnip's mouthpiece said they weren't getting in the passport bidness?
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Biden administration is in extended discussions with U.S. airlines and other travel industry groups to provide technical guidance for vaccine passports that could be used to ramp up international air travel safely, industry officials said.
The administration has repeatedly made clear it will not require any businesses or Americans to use a digital COVID-19 health credential, however. It will also publish guidelines for the public.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters on Tuesday that the administration would provide guidance “that provides important answers to questions that Americans have, in particular around concerns about privacy, security, or discrimination, soon.”
Psaki said on Tuesday that the U.S government will not require Americans to carry a credential. “There will be no federal vaccinations database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential,” she said.
Psaki noted that there is a push “in the private sector to identify ways that they can return to events where there are large swaths of people safely in soccer stadiums or theaters.”
She added “that’s where the idea originated, and we expect that’s where it will be concluded.” LINK

If you needed more proof that these assholes are anti-American. This is the example she uses?

FFS I feel like I am in a dream...
Airlines have never worried if someone traveling onboard was aids infected or had any other myriad of diseases but now they worried if you had a Covid shot. This reaffirmed my belief that this shot is nefarious and will be used against the population sooner rather than later.

States like FL and TX better get their lawsuits in order for this. Needs to be put in within hrs if it being announced.
Screw these people. This kind of thing is why the fought the legal protections that Trump tried to push thru.
Dems are diabolical.

Well, soccer stadiums are open during the summer

Won’t do much good if the WH makes an end around with private business

I'm going to have to cancel my summer plans aren't I?

To much hassle for the majority, it would be easier to have the non-compliant minority be required to wear an arm band.

I’d bet the airlines won’t do anything until the fall.

I think I'm going to start marketing a patch of some sort, maybe have it be a digitized version of the virus...
...that people can wear on their lapels in order to quickly identify if they've been vaccinated rather than having to carry around papers.

I bet I still find ways to travel and go to games even if we are required a "vaccine passport"

Possibly, but the states best legal minds need to figure something out to fight to WH for getting involved in this.
Ie...no airlines in the states of TX/FL can ask any resident of the states for this. Throughout the travel process no matter where they are. I'm tired of the dems making up the rules/laws at their whim.

Amazing it goes from 15 days to stop the spread to vaccine passports. Hitler did the same thing

They're just going to pressure businesses into requiring them instead.

Thank you, dear leader, for your leniency.
