The prosecutors witness from LA police force said he could not understand what Floyd said. If a cop does not understand what is said, the cop can not react. They apparently had no idea what Floyd was saying. They may have thought he was drunk or high, but the cops do not call paramedics every time they arrest a drug user.

I saw a guy eat a whole sheet of acid once. I can't tell if it did him any damage, he was already borderline retarded.

DOES the cop have a duty to call in a medical emergency? The audio is correct. It's their defense.
- If so, and they did not, then I can see the police getting some time IF THEY DID NOT.
There's video of the cop helping the paramedics give CPR in the ambulance. Sorry if someone else already stated this.

The video clip was presented during cross examination of Los Angeles Police Sgt. Jody Stiger, a paid witness for the state, who claims that “no force should have been used” on Floyd.
I don’t get this. They fly in some rando sergeant off the LA police force to testify. A sergeant, not a LT, Captain, major? Is it because he’s just black and from another police force it makes him an expert? Why not get a black cop from Detroit? Or is it because he’s the only racist that would testify against another cop? They had to go across the country to find one? Must have cost a bunch to fly in all these witnesses from across the country. This is bs.

He is supposedly a "use of force" expert. He was paid 10 thousand dollars, plus a court fee, and expenses to testify.
In my opinion he was ineffective and did nothing to further the prosecutions case.

Ironic you bring up the EMT since she was absolute disaster and actually helped the defense. Only degenerate reddit mods, blue checks, or people who watch too much law and order (aka women) could think otherwise.
She proved to be a lousy witness who conceded several points to the defense, obnoxiously lied about statements she made to investigators (when you claim you don't remember what you said then stubbornly refuse to read the transcript of your statement when its presented to you; it implies you remember perfectly well what you said, you just think it will hurt your narrative), and made such an arse out of herself that the judge literally cleared the courtroom just so he could yell at her fat lying arse.

Yeah no kidding.
This defense attorney is one man defending Chauvin against 15 state prosecutors and he's obliterating them like a fat kid eating a melted chocolate bar.

I think the call was made and they arrived 5 minutes later. I’m not sure if that was EMTs or firefighters or both.
It was initially paramedics later joined by Fire.

It's not unusual in that kind of situation. His dealer by all indications is pleading the 5th Amendment. If he just bought drugs, where did they go?
Who sits in the car on street outside a place you just committed a Federal crime and got caught for over 20 minute?? Somebody high af. That’s who.
99% of people when confronted the first time would have gotten the hell out of there. They got confronted by the store 2x and still stayed there.

When did Damien Echols become an EMT worker?

If I was Chauvin's attorney I would have only one question:
"Did you supply the drugs that killed George Floyd?"
And then listen to him take the 5th.

george floyd was a POS just like we all thought

Right. Everyone on the street could see and hear that Floyd was in distress, but the man on top of him can not be expected to see that even though he is trained to do so. And I'm the one Monday Morning Quarterbacking.

Back when we used to have a constitution in this country there was a thing called reasonable doubt.
The officers other than Chauvin are very likely to be acquitted. If I had to put money on the outcome, I’d bet that Chauvin gets acquitted also.
Chauvin is the closest on maybe negligent homicide, if that’s even possible under the charges.
But don’t worry. Juries in police trials always seem to understand “beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Is the man on top supposed to put George Floyd’s safety above everyone else when George Floyd is the retard that was plastered on numerous drugs and resisting arrest?
