Conservatives and libertarians are paying for blindly supporting corporations

It seems libertarian have led conservatives awry by allowing these corporations to be all powerful.
I support the teachings of Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell, even Ann Rand, but we are talking about tax payer funded organizations like pro sports, or these corporations like Delta and Coke who get huge tax credits only to work against the people in the communities they are based.
Republicans have been a big part in how powerful these corporations have become and yet they are now our biggest threat. The irony is strong.

They weren't a threat before social media.

Let’s just be honest here. The country would not be in this situation if you didn’t have a ton of people this past election vote for Biden because they didn’t like Trump as a person. There was a bunch of Republicans and Independents that voted for Biden just because they didn’t like Trump personally. They knew what it was going to be like if Biden won and the Dems won both sides of Congress. It’s like they was voting for homecoming king and queen other than the President. All the harm that comes to the country are on them!!

The republicans give them tax breaks to get the jobs they bring . I think the sports teams will have a harder time getting public funding now that they have pissed off Republicans.

Not only are they on the side of big corporations, they also get to shite down our throats when republican bills and tax cuts help the corporations.
We’re losing twice here.

Corporate wokeness is merely a symptom of a deeper malady. The military industrial complex is the disease. The sooner more self-proclaimed supporters of limited government come to this inevitable conclusion, the sooner we can find peaceful solutions to the current crisis.

We didn’t expect our politicians to sell us out via cronyism.

Most libertarians are opposed to all forms of “corporate welfare.” A widely-held libertarian tenet is that cronyism is the inevitable end result of tax abatements, set-asides and subsidies for politically connected market sectors. I’m not really sure why the OP is blaming libertarians for policies they generally oppose.

It's not just republicans.
We all bought into globalism because it gave us big box stores and eventually online stores filled with cheap goods in constant supply. We didn't care if businesses operated in the best interest of the communities and country the claimed to serve as long as prices were low and good readily available.
Well they grew out into giant monopolies free of care about any nation or people. They serve dollars and cents and they have no ethics beyond what they find politically expedient on an international stage. They learned they could buy not only politics but in a large part they could buy the rules to the game and the playing board...and if anyone challenged their monopolies or practices, they loyally had their GOP "free market" cultists ready to throw a tantrum on their behalf.
They have no ideology. They just realize a big government is a better and bigger paying customer than a fickle and changing public ever could be. It's so ironic to see "free market" adherents hopping in bed with socialists so both can secure power. Just another chapter in this new clown world we're in.

You are confused, sir.
Libertarians don't support government sponsorship of Corporations. Libertarians don't support government sponsorship of pretty much anything. We expect corporations to rise and fall on their own accord.
