I just love baseball so much. It’s a big part of my life. I live alone and don’t have many friends. Maybe sad, but baseball is one of the few simple pleasures in life that I really enjoy. I can’t give it up but I am very familiar with the fast forward button on my remote. Anything political - next segment.
I just wish there was some pushback from within the sport. There needs to be some adults in this conversation.

Hopefully he makes a statement, but this is it for me. Sucks to be this way, but sports are just becoming something i really don’t wanna take part in anymore.
It’s supposed to be an escape, and it isn’t.
In the past it was suppose to be enjoyable and relaxing but now it is toxic and no fun any more. Only a few good sports I still watch. Missouri football, St. Louis Blues, and St. Louis Cardinals. I also watch major tennis tournaments. Also watch some major golf but a lot less now. I still watch NSCAR. But not as much as I used to. Soon I will be watching the World comes to an end! I haven't been watching the news for over a year now. The only news I see is articles from the internet. That is it. I never see the News on T.V.. It is over for me. It is no good now. I am trying to get out to the country more than ever. Try watching less T.V. and do more outside activities. It is a must of you want to feel good and be or stay healthy.

We have these threads on the Rant complaining to high heaven that taking the MLB all-star game out of Georgia is just politics as usual and why can't we all just keep politics out of our sport and live and let live. Then we have other threads like Durant and Rapoport having a private pizzing contest between two foul-mouthed dudes and all the Rant sees is the hypocrisy and political double standard.
It's kinda like the Rant has an ESPN kind of problem over here.
