Derek Chauvin's trial is rigged.

It's just not how you may think. It isn't rigged against him. It is rigged in his favor for him to be acquitted. The state's expert witness is so stupid, along with the other facts, that there will be no chance a jury will convict. The dem handlers want him acquitted so bad. Easy mid term election juice and they love the riots.
Hold tight, they will prosecute a nothing case just to get the masses on edge again.

How can he possibly get a fair trial
Especially when they settled already

Well, CNN will do its part in promoting the state's case against Chauvin.

This may be the dumbest of takes since the Q thread

It's not a fair trial based on a lot of things, especially the settlement happening right before the case.
But everyone with a brain cell knows he should walk. The dude swallowed drugs before arrest the year before. Their were drugs in the car. In his system. A defense witness with him will testify he kept passing out. It's game over.
Ellison doesn't give a frick about Floyd. He knows they can't convict and the dem power circles get to keep up their propaganda.

He can't get a fair trial, or at least a fair verdict.
Too much pressure to convict, right or wrong, to appease the potential rioters/looters.

Crowder had a great coverage of the trail earlier today.
It seems Chauvin and company did everything correctly (by the book/their training) up until Floyd became unresponsive. At that point they should have placed him into a "recovery position" (essentially side lying with one knee out for support). They didn't do that. I believe one of the other officers, either on Floyd's back or legs, asked Chauvin if it was time to put him in that position twice. Chauvin said no the first time and didn't respond the second time.
Is that murder? Or racially motivated? No.
Is it manslaughter? Depends on the autopsy. If he died of a drug overdose then no, it's not manslaughter. If he died from the knee to the neck then it should be.

There's going to be a lot more expert witness's. These witnesses today offer nothing to the outcome

Like when oj was on trial and there was no way a jury could acquit?

When the riots start, it will be interesting to see if there are more "counter-protestors" this time...
Call it a hunch.

I dunno. BET says he is definitely guilty.

Think how it would feel to be him? To have your life in the hands of this politicized and highly charged spectacle. I have a lot of trouble believing this guy is going to walk. Guilty or not? You can decide that for yourself but this guy is getting convicted. No fricking way he walks out of that courtroom a free man.
Of course, I thought Casey Anthony was surely going to get convicted too and she walked, so who the hell knows.
It's going to be spectacle, that's for sure. Thank God it's not my life or someone I love. I hate what this country has become.

In my defense, my 'is' was supposed to be an 'isn't'.

You should have head the legal experts gushing over the word "shimmy" after the "expert" testimony of the bass fisherman.
His testimony was the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. I can't believe more people aren't talking about it.

What happened?

Whatever the verdict, Minneapolis is guaranteed to burn. It'll basically be like many sports events championships - a city will burn if their team lost, same as if it won. All we can hope for is that this does not go on around the country (again).
